MEET YOUR FOUNDER
TAYLOR EVE
I’m Taylor Peet and I’m the founder of Girls Can Ride. I’m a fur mum, a qualified graphic/web designer, an accredited Motorcycling Australia Level 1 coach, NLP Practitioner and a Life Coaching student living on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
I’ve raced dirt bikes all around Australia since the age of 5, and experienced first hand how tough it can be in a male-dominated sport. It was a big reason I fell out of love with riding and eventually gave it up at 21 before starting my graphic and web design university degrees. I went on to finish my degrees, work with my dream clients including Ashy Bines and even created my own brand, Taylor Eve.
But after a rough time, I decided to invest my house savings (sorry mum) into buying a dirt bike. My skills on the bike came back like I’d never stopped but the girls to ride with was still lacking in the industry.
Before long I had girls reaching out to me for MX skills advice, as well as mindset help in riding and every day life. I realised I had to find a way to help women see motocross as a self growth tool, to not only grow as people but also grow the number of women in motocross.
GIRLS CAN RIDE
So I created my all girls MX coaching event “Girls Can Ride”.
My mission is to grow women in motocross into the most confident versions of themselves and grow the number of women in motocross.
Girls Can Ride events are a safe place where female motocross riders at every level and age can learn new skills to be a safer and more confident rider. Girls learn from MX coaches and mindset coaches, and connect with like-minded girls, without the fear of judgment or pressure of failure.

FAQ's
I am a beginner, is this suited for me?
Yes it is! We cater for all levels. As long as you know how to use a clutch, brakes, and start your bike. We will teach you the rest!
If you can't, I've got you covered! We will be hosting Intro to Girls Can Ride events in 2024 in selected states. Check with me (Taylor) if you'd like to know if one is coming to you!
Can I do a payment plan?
You absolutely can! It will just be a $250 deposit, and pay as you go until fully paid up until the event date!
You'll need to contact me by the contact page for specific details on how to get started and I can organise this for you asap!
Please know before committing to this option, if you do change your mind on coming after you have paid your deposit, you are still required to pay the full amount unless you have found someone to replace your spot! See FAQ below "Can I get a refund if I can't make it".
What time do we kick off on Saturday?
We ask you to arrive to the track at 7.30am on Saturday morning, for an 8.30am start. Ensure you are geared up by 8.30am!
This may however change, so be sure to go off the final instructions we send to your email 1 week prior to the event!
Can my partner or parents/family come and camp and hang out for the whole weekend?
Yes, absolutely! All we ask is for them to pay for seperate camping to you if it's required at the track we are heading to!
Can my partner ride?
If the track is open to the public during our event, then absolutely. If it is a private hire then unfortunately not! Simply check in with us and we will be able to tell you! If it's a public hire they will need to pay usual ride day and camping fees!
Can I get a refund if I can't make it?
If you do enter and decide to change your mind, please let us know as soon as possible so we can help you fill your spot. If you cannot find anyone to fill your spot we will not be able to refund you. We close off advertisements when we are completely full so the sooner you decide to sell your ticket the more time you’ll have to organise this! Please keep this in mind when purchasing your ticket! Our team can absolutely help by promoting your ticket on socials (Taylor Eve + Girls Can Ride IG).
Can I bring my camper trailer?
Yes, absolutely! Most girls do in fact :) just double check with the track that they have flat grounds and a road for you to safely get your camper trailer in on!
I've already been to a GCR, and would like to go to another. Will it be exactly the same?
We are constantly evolving, growing and levelling up. In 2024 we have big changes which include a lot of mindset coaching, so if you've been to one in 2022 or 2023, our GCR events will have new added seminars, new tracks, a range of different coaches including myself (Taylor). We also like to work on your current level of riding, so if you've levelled up since the last event you attended chances are we have we'll be working on techniques that you need to learn to get to the next level! We also have different goodie bags and a whole new group of girls for you to meet and make friends with! It is very common for our girls to come to multiple!
Will I become a better rider after a GCR event?
We believe each time you come to GCR you will absolutely progress, not only in riding but in mindset, overall confidence, and you'll go home with new skills as well as new things to work on!
What is the youngest age you will take?
We've had 5 year olds in the past. As long as they can do a full lap of the track :)
Are you planning to take GCR around the world? We would love to see you here in Europe!
It is GOALS for us to travel the world with this, but this year our focus is Australia!
I want to come to GCR but I am scared to do it alone. Are there other girls doing this alone?
Yes!!! A majority of the girls come alone and we love it because we really see a lot of self growth in those girls! Independence grows, confidence grows, and friend circle grows. Those girls inspire us the most!!! If you're thinking about coming and are a bit nervous, DM me @tayloreve_ and I will save you a spot next to me and we can hang out all weekend!
Can you help a girl out who hasn't been on a bike for years and has 0 confidence?
It sounds like GCR is made for you!
Thoughts on being 12 weeks pregnant and doing GCR?! I have read mixed reviews.
I would get advice of a professional! At our events you go at your own pace. If there's something you don't feel comfortable with you can sit out and listen and learn if you need to! I would get advice of a professional! Pregnant or not, motocross is a risky sport.
Do you have bikes for hire?
At this stage, no! But we are working on it!
What you can do is a call out on the private Girls Can Ride Facebook Forum - a lot of supportive partners have lent their bikes to some of our girls in the past! If you're feeling nervous to do a call out, contact us and we can do the call out for you!
Other wise check out your local motocross bike hire shops!
I don't feel confident riding on a motocross track, will GCR be suited to me?
GCR is all about improving your confidence on the bike and introducing you to MX tracks in a safe environment. Most tracks we head to, also have safe flat tracks or grass tracks that are perfect to learn on!
We also get the track to ourselves - an all female environment!
I can't get my bike there! Is there anyone that could help?
Give a shout out in our Girls Can Ride Private FB forum and see if someone can help you out!
If you don't feel confident doing the call out, let us know and we can do it for you!
Do you have a video from the weekend to see if it passes the vibe check?
We sure do! I have vlogged each event from 1-10 so be sure to get your popcorn out and head to the Taylor Eve Youtube channel!
Is Taylor an MX coach?
I am a Motorcycling Australia Level 1 accredited MX coach and also hold my blue card.
I also hire different coaches to coach alongside me to ensure we can cover everyone.
TESTIMONIALS
"Incredibly well thought out, unimaginably impactful on both mind and technique and full of laughter and friendship development, this amazing, jam-packed weekend is an absolute must for girls of all ages and riding levels” From a proud Mum of a 13 year old developmental rider"

“Booking my ticket to my first GCR was the best decision I ever made. I am now booked to go to yet another GCR in May - and I purchased without hesitation. Taylor was amazing at settling the nerves of all the newcomers and instantly makes you realise these events are what they mean by creating a safe place. A place to learn, grow and make friends. The weekend was an absolute blast, meeting likeminded girls, making new friends, plus learning and improving on technique! Taylor and all involved went above and beyond to make it the best weekend. I didn’t know how much I needed an event like this. It’s life changing. I now have friends to hang out with who love the same thing - being a bad b*tch on a motorbike! Thankyou does not begin to cover it.”

"Firstly, thankyou for a great event at Goondiwindi. Speaking as a Dad, it was wonderful to watch my daughter Martha’s progression over the weekend. Martha loves dirt bike riding, and although we are fortunate to have property where she can ride, none of her friend group ride, so last weekend, for her to connect with other girls with the same interest was awesome. The other girls were amazing. She connected really well with another girl the same age, but also I saw the older girls interacting with her in a very positive way too. You should be congratulated for space that your work creates that enables and reinforces that environment."
