Girls Can Ride T&C’s Ticket Holders
By purchasing a ticket for a Girls Can Ride event, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the following terms and conditions set forth by Girls Can Ride.
You agree not to engage in the resale of tickets in violation of applicable laws. Event Tickets may not be resold without the prior written consent of Girls Can Ride. This includes via online auction, used for advertising, promotion, other commercial purposes including competitions and trade promotions, or used to enhance the demand for other goods or services.
Event Entry
Attendance at Girls Can Ride events is exclusively reserved for valid ticket holders. Only individuals and their support crew possessing a valid and authorised event ticket are granted entry to Girls Can Ride events. Girls Can Ride reserves the right to deny entry to anyone without a valid event ticket.
In addition to holding an MA Licence, venues may require riders to sign an additional indemnity form. Participants aged below 18 years are required to have a parent/guardian sign.
Track/Venue Rules
Participants in Girls Can Ride events are required to adhere to the specific rules and regulations outlined by each respective venue. By registering and participating in any Girls Can Ride event, you agree to comply with all guidelines set forth by the hosting venue. This includes, but is not limited to, following safety protocols, respecting track usage policies, and adhering to any additional rules established by the venue for the duration of the event. Failure to comply with the venue's rules and regulations may result in consequences determined by both the venue and Girls Can Ride, including potential exclusion from the event and future Girls Can Ride activities hosted at the venue. Participants are responsible for familiarising themselves with and abiding by the specific rules and regulations of each venue where Girls Can Ride events take place.
Your privacy
Girls Can Ride gathers personal information, as defined by Australian privacy legislation, that is essential for the operation and promotion of the Event, as well as other Girls Can Ride or similar events. This may include collecting your name, address, email address, and phone number to facilitate Event arrangements.
Images and recordings
By attending the Event, you acknowledge the possibility of being photographed and/or filmed. Girls Can Ride, the Released Parties, and third parties authorised by Girls Can Ride may create, record, transmit, reproduce, and utilise visual and audio-visual footage as well as still images of you in connection with the Event.
You hereby grant Girls Can Ride the permission to use the recordings and images in any media, without requiring identification, compensation, or payment of any kind. If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed for these purposes, it is imperative that you notify Girls Can Ride accordingly.
No un-authorised photographers are able to release or supply photos/videos to event participants. This is to keep GCR supported photographers as a sole content supplier for authentic branding and on brand social presence.
Refund Policy
Withdrawal due to Injury, Illness, or Unforeseen Circumstances:
You may qualify for a refund if you withdraw from the event more than two weeks (14 days) before its scheduled date due to injury, illness, or unforeseen circumstances. Notification of your withdrawal is required, and Girls Can Ride reserves the right to request reasonable information or evidence regarding your injury, illness, or circumstances.
Withdrawal due to Injury, Illness, or Unforeseen Circumstances within Two Weeks of the Event:
If you withdraw less than two weeks (14 days) from the event, and your position cannot be filled with a rider from the waitlist, a forfeiture of your entry fee will apply.
Incorrect Purchases or Change of Mind:
Refunds for incorrect purchases or change of mind are not guaranteed and are subject to the discretion of Girls Can Ride. It will be up to you to fill your spot, and you must notify Girls Can Ride to process the name change in the system.
Change of Mind when on Payment Plan:
Payment plans are still required to be paid in full before the date of the event. Refunds for change of mind on a payment plan are not guaranteed and are subject to the discretion of Girls Can Ride. It will be up to you to fill your spot, and you must notify Girls Can Ride to process the name change in the system.
Event Cancellation or Postponement:
In the event of cancellation or postponement, Girls Can Ride will refund your ticket or issue a credit note upon your request.
